Simple traditional animation with beautiful story, that’s what Studio Ghibli is all about. We are both fans of Studio Ghibli and Hayao Miyazaki’s 2D-wonders such as Spirited Away, Howl’s Moving Castle, Ponyo, or the sad sad Grave of Fireflies. But there’s one Ghibli’s film that we adore so much, yup, it’s My Neighbor Totoro. We love the tough girl Satsuki, cute Mei, lovable Totoro, the odd catbus, and the rambutan-shaped spirits. The beautiful pictures along the movie inspire this palette of playful bold colors. What about you? What movie inspires you?
